So you’ve already seen some artwork that I have done for my book, you can refer to my previous posts about Kael and Fife for some of them (though the artwork on these pages were very basic).
When I decided to rewrite my book I also decided to redo and update some of my artwork, most of which I wouldn’t include in the actual book, but as an artist I felt it helped me really connect with my characters and the setting.
Here’s some characters and a brief description of their role in my world, it might not mean much at the moment – but there remains the mystery.

Kael Cavilo
Son of Emmeric Cavilo and a ranger of the Friar’s.
Born of the Galathareon curse and raised in Daegomar. Kael is on the journey to find out his purpose in Eyrador.
Fife
A retired thief and hustler determined to follow her foreseeing dreams on a path that will change the course of the coming war.
Born and raised on Daegomar.
King Robert Dormley
King of the north, put into power by an unknown entity and shrouded in secrecy.
He led the war against the elves in the purge of magic 30 years ago – he remains on the throne with the power of Vaelem in his hand.
Lord Herald Shrilling
The commander of the southern army, lord of Fort Bennon and close friend of Aldridge Aeden.
Lost his wife to an unknown plague that devours the land, he fights for the south in her honour.
Aldridge Aeden
The elder of the southern council and grandson to the founder of Nigh.
Son to the last King of the south before he was slain by King Dormley.
For 30 years he has tried to win the war against the King.
Farley Holt
A former ranger of the Friar’s turned spy for the south, working closely with Aldridge Aeden.
Sent on a search to find sorcery, 30 years after the purge of magic, in the hopes of a unity.
