*drum roll* Surprise!
I’m unveiling a short story that takes place in my world, but don’t worry it is not related to The War For Eyrador so it doesn’t go hand in hand. Instead it follows the curiosity and simple-mindedness of a goblin by the name of Boggleskin, and his journey to help 3 strangers.
Why have I done a second book before releasing my main novel?

Good question.
I’d had the idea for a second book in my mind for quite a while, it was just a question of what can i do with this concept that would be slightly different.
I wanted to set a different tone to my TWFE novel, which is serious, brutal, and definitely not for the faint hearted. The tone i wanted for this one was funny, clumsy and a tad curious and that is exactly what Boggleskin is – its safe to say that this is definitely more of a children’s book than an adults (although everyone can surely enjoy it.)

What is this book about?
The story is told by Boggleskin himself, so you see through the eyes of this very curious, fluttery, semi-intelligent goblin who is still learning about the world around him.
One day, as he is going about his business, he is presented with 3 strangers, humans, who are lost in his land. Curious Boggleskin decides to get himself involved with their journey, they are reluctant of course, but they do not know these lands. Unfortunately for them, Boggleskin is a rather scatty individual and does not serve as a good guide, he only gets them into more and more trouble all the while trying to befriend one of the strangers who he thinks is being belittled by the others.
The humans journey is fairly simple, they wish to retrieve an ancient relic that was lost long ago in the land of Umheil, the land of the giants (which is where they believe it is).
Yet this relic has become rather important for the giants, it has been in their possession for thousands of years, and now these three humans have come to take it from them. To retrieve the relic without causing upset will become quite the challenge for the humans – and that’s where Boggleskin becomes useful, sort-of.
When will be released?
I can’t say for sure, but I’m hoping to get it on Amazon (KDP) by the end of this year. It’s not a long book and it definitely is not as intense as my main novel so editing it should be fairly straight forward.
More to come.
** Yes AI made cover – simply wanted some inspiration – real design will be 100% human.
